Bhopal March. 8, march 26 Assamely of mp Journalist Precedent demanded that the Union government restore the concessional railway passes to Accriditated Journalists in the country.
In a statement, The President Radhavallahh Sharda said the the Railway Minister announced the cancellation of concessional railway passes to the journalists due to covid- 19 in March 2020 and sofar no restore the fecility.
The journalists in the country got railway passes after a long struggle, but the Railways has deprived them of the4 facility, which is unjustice he regretted.
The Government of India is extending thousands of crores of incentives to corporate entities. Providing railway passes to journalists in the country is not so expensive he opined.
Sharda said that Railways had been providing passes with
50 percent concession to the journalists for many years and the journalists were hoping that they would get cent percent concession.But the NDA government has scrapped the fecility compleately, he complained.
